About
My name is Caroline Le Sueur and I have taught Music at Taylors Lakes P.S for 5 years. My special areas of interest are Percussion and Voice and I regularly perform in a variety of bands and orchestral groups. Currently I am performing with the South Melbourne Symphony Orchestra playing in the percussion section.
I began my education at Lowther Hall AGS and remained there until Year 10. From there I earned a scholarship into the Victorian College Of Arts Secondary School to complete my VCE studies and majored in Percussion and Voice. Throughout this time I progressed into a competent musician playing with many ensembles and orchestras. The musical training at VCASS has proven an invaluable experience, as Music is a passion that still remains strong in my life. I am an energetic member of my profession and students in my musical ensembles have had success with being selected to perform at a number of large events and venues such as the Westside Arts Celebration held at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre. A personal highlight during my teaching career also includes coordinating students and teachers for a performance at the Junior Rock Eisteddfod Challenge held at Vodafone Arena.
I am always researching new and exciting ways to teach music in the classroom so that the children can enjoy their lessons and develop an appreciation for music.
