Early Years Xylophone Ensemble

The Early Years Xylophone Ensemble is an enrichment program for students from Prep, Grades 1 and 2. The ensemble currently is made up 12 very enthusiastic musicians who play the glockenspiels. The conductor Caroline Le Sueur uses the Carl Orff teaching method and is currently selecting repertoire from resources written by Jon Madin. Instruments are played along to a recorded backing track allowing students to play either the melody line or harmony line depending on their level of ability.  The children are currently learning 3 songs Martina Kalina, Cincinnati City & Nigun Atik. We look forward to seeing them at their next concert!
