Music @ Taylors Lakes Primary School

 

Grade 3/4 Choir was conducted by Angelique, Ms A, yesterday (as seen in photograph). Students were taught to sing “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. By the end of the session students in the choir were begging to sing the song once more and to sing solo on the microphone!  

 

 

 

The Grade 3/4 Choir is made up of 50 students who have been selected primarily for their eagerness to participate and willingness to accept responsibility to commit for the duration of the year.  The choir is conducted by music specialists Caroline Le Sueur and Vicky Klepkas.  Our dedicated choir participants rehearse once a week during class time and have input into the songs chosen to sing.  In the past the School Choir has been invited to perform at many events and venues such as Highpoint Shopping Centre, Watergardens Shopping Complex, Keilor Centro Plaza, Bunnings, School Expo Night and other school functions. The is currently learning 4 songs ‘Get Rhythm’ By Johnny Cash, ‘Bad Day’ By Daniel Powter, ‘Swinging On A Star’ By J. Burke & J. Van Heusen and ‘Pictures Of You’ By J. Blue, M.Nadeau & K.J.Henneberry.
